MULTICULTURAL INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, AND FAMILIES

We enjoy working with multicultural, multilingual, and multiracial individuals, couples, and families. We work on challenges with multicultural relationships, blended families, foster families, adopted families, and non-traditional family structures. We have a passion for work with people struggling with acculturation, immigration, bicultural and cross-cultural challenges, intergenerational challenges, identity and grief and loss. Our specialty is Latinx mental health and currently offer therapy in English and Spanish.

 

We also provide Immigration Psychosocial Evaluations for individuals who are in the process of applying for a Harship, UVisa, VAWA and Assylum Waiver.

CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS, AND FAMILIES

We have experience and specialize in challenges related to changing family structure, such as divorce or separation, communication, parenting, family conflict, children with behavioral issues at school or at home, attention deficit and hyperactivity, aggression, tantrums, difficulty sleeping, sadness, anxiety, withdrawal or low self-esteem; school-related issues, such as school refusal, truancy, bullying, being bullied, poor social skills, behavioral difficulties at school, poor academic performance, and separation anxiety; additional issues related to abuse, trauma, community violence, self-injury, suicide ideation and developmental challenges.

INDIVIDUALS

We have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with sadness, lack of motivation and direction, depression, mood swings, feeling out of control, relationship stress, anxiety, social fears,low self-esteem, abuse, domestic violence, trauma-survivors, grief and loss, self-injury, suicide ideation, anger, and aggression.
